Feature Film: "No One" / De Nadie
The impoverished Central Americans who leave their countries in hopes of a better life in the United States have a rough road ahead of them. De Nadie shows how, during their perilous 2500-mile journey through Mexico, they put their last money, dignity, health and life on the line.
(84 minutes, Spanish with English subtitles; directors: Tin Dirdamal, Jos Torres)

As well as the following short films:

- Take Back the Days: Step by Step to Ottawa
In June 2005, the "No One Is Illegal" March on Ottawa made its way from the immigrant neighbourhoods of Montreal to Parliament Hill. Despite searing heat, rain and sickness, hundreds of protesters denounce the detention and deportation of non-status migrants and call for the abolition of security certificates. Over 8 days and 200 km, the marchers develop solidarity - with each other as well as with the countless "invisible" people living in Canada with no legal status. (14 minutes, English & French: dir: Eylem Kaftan)

- Status for Abdelkader Belaouni!
Kader Belaouni has been in sanctuary in the St-Gabriel's Church in Point St-Charles for more than two years, in defiance of a deportation order by the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA). This short film is an intimate look at Kader's life in sanctuary and his struggle for status in Canada. (20 minutes; English and French; dir: Santiago Bertolino)

- Secret Canada
A documentary about security certificates, featuring exclusive interviews with Mona El Fouli, Mohamed Harkat, Sophie Lamarche and Adil Charkaoui. (24 minutes; English and French; directors: Lillian Boctor and Ryan Mulligan)

- Eviction
In January 2007, Canadian mining company Skye Resources instigated the forcible eviction of several Q'eqchi' indigenous communities in Guatemala. The evictions were violent, destructive and highly illegal. This is an account of a fight for ownership and livelihood in the face of staunch injustice. (10 minutes, Spanish with English subtitles; director: Steven Schnoor)
